Christmas Peony Camellia ( botanical name - Camellia Japonica ) is evergreen and grows to a mature size of 8 feet tall by 10 feet wide. This shrub enjoys partial shade and provides complimentary fall color. The Camellia flowers in December to early spring with turkey red blooms. It normally has a medium drought tolerance and a medium growth rate when planted in zone 7-8.
