Zhuzhou Red Leaf Loropetalum ( botanical name - Loropetalum chinense rubrum 'Zhuzhou Fuchsia' ) is evergreen and grows to a mature size of 12 feet tall by 10 feet wide. This shrub enjoys partial shade and provides purple and green fall color. The Loropetalum flowers in spring with deep fuchsia pink blooms. It normally has a medium drought tolerance and a fast growth rate when planted in zone 6b-9.
